Distinctive architectural details set this piece apart, including an original mortise pocket, visible peg holes, and surviving iron hardware that remain embedded in the timber. 

The top surface has been lightly surfaced while retaining its rustic character, creating a balance between refined craftsmanship and historic authenticity. 

Note: Recreated Mantels are not exact replicas, as each piece is unique with their own marks, color, grain, and texture. But if you like the style, the finish, and the stain, we can do that.
